Between the island of Hvar and the city of Split you will find the third largest island in Croatia, Brac. The island has the highest mountain in the Adriatic, Vidova gora, with a height of 660 meters. On Brac there are several fishing villages; Bol, Supetar and Milna are among the most well known. On the island, a spectacular festival for extreme sports is arranged every year.
Among the fishing villages, it is Bol in particular which has become a popular destination for international visitors. Bol, which is situated to the south on island Brac, is the oldest settlement on the island. The town is particularly known for its beautiful beaches, specially "The Golden Horn". The long beaches make Bol into a natural paradise for windsurfers, but Bol also has fantastic conditions for diving, cycling and climbing. There are many cafés, bars and exciting restaurants where it is possible to order some of the fine local vines produced on the island.
